Acknowledgement of Country

Earth Sisters respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our gatherings take place. 

We recognise the deep and continuing connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with Country - the land, waters, skies, plants, animals and ancestral stories that have been cared for across countless generations.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present and honour the knowledge, culture and custodianship that continue to guide the care of these lands.

As a gathering that celebrates connection with the Earth, we acknowledge that these ways of relating to land and community have been held and practiced by First Nations peoples since time immemorial. We are grateful for the opportunity to gather on Country and we remain committed to listening, learning and deepening our respect for the cultures and knowledge that continue to care for these lands.
