Earth Sisters Festival Stewardship & Organisation

The festival was founded by Sarah Maclagan, who continues to hold the long-term vision and values of the gathering. As Founder, Sarah serves as a steward of the festival’s direction and works with the Stewardship Committe and Advisory Circle  to bring the event to life each year.

The Stewardship Committee is responsible for the overall organisation and delivery of the festival. This group is comprised of Sarah Maclagan, Andrea Martell and Steph Burrows, who work collaboratively on planning, logistics, partnerships and program development.

Earth Sisters is also supported by an Advisory Circle - a small group of trusted women who offer guidance, perspective and counsel. The Advisory Circle helps support thoughtful decision-making and provides an additional layer of accountability where needed.

While the organising team provides the structure for the event, the spirit and richness of Earth Sisters comes from the many women who contribute workshops, music, creative offerings, practical help and energy to the gathering.

Earth Sisters is, at its heart, a community-created event, shaped each year by the women who participate.
