Earth Sisters Festival Inc. Privacy Policy

Earth Sisters Festival Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants, volunteers, members, and website visitors. We are a non-profit Incorporated Association operating under the principles of care, trust, and deep respect.   • Participation Data: Details related to your involvement (e.g., as a participant, volunteer, facilitator, Stewardship Committee Member, or Advisory Circle Member).
  • Sensitive Information: Health or dietary information required for safety and catering, collected only with your consent for the purpose of ensuring your safety and wellbeing at the festival.

  • Direct Interaction: When you register for the festival, apply to volunteer, or contact us via email.
  • Website & Social Media: Through online forms and, passively, via cookies and analytics when you visit our website or social media pages (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).

We use the collected information for the primary purposes for which it was gathered, and other purposes directly related to our functions as a non-profit Incorporated Association.
Primary uses include:

  • Administration & Operation: Managing festival registration, ticketing, and logistics.
  • Safety & Wellbeing: Ensuring the emotional, physical, psychological, and cultural safety of all attendees, including catering to specific needs.
  • Communication: Sending updates, confirmations, and information related to the festival and the Association.
  • Governance & Compliance: Maintaining membership records, managing conflicts of interest, and fulfilling legal obligations under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW).


4. Disclosure of Personal Information
In line with our commitment to Confidentiality & Trust, we only disclose your personal information in limited circumstances:

  • Internal Disclosure: To the Stewardship Committee and relevant volunteers/facilitators on a "need-to-know" basis to manage operations and ensure safety (e.g., sharing dietary needs with the catering team).
  • Legal Requirement: Where disclosure is required by law, such as to comply with the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW).
  • With Consent: When you have provided explicit consent for the disclosure (e.g., sharing your story with permission).
  • Breaches of Conduct: Information relating to breaches of the Code of Conduct may be shared as part of the accountability process, including to provide the Member an opportunity to be heard.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
